Tour of Guangxi: Louis Barré Finishes 6th Overall as Hayter Takes Best Young Rider Jersey

In the sixth and final stage of the Tour of Guangxi, Louis Barré finished 6th overall while his teammate Hayter took the best young rider jersey. The stage was marked by a breakaway of four riders, with Onley from DSM-Firmenich leading the way. However, the peloton caught up with the escapees on the day’s two climbs. This led to a sprint for the bonus, where Hayter managed to secure third place and also took the bonuses twice, propelling him to 3rd overall. This resulted in him taking the best young rider jersey from Barré.

The team’s performance throughout the week was a mixed bag. While they made up some places, they were far from the top positions and had no influence on the massive sprints. Despite this, Barré had a strong showing in the UCI WorldTour, particularly on the queen stage at Jongla.
