Astana Qazaqstan Development Team’s rider, Mattia Negrente, secured victory in the GP Goriška & Vipava Valley race in Slovenia. Negrente’s win came after a strong start to the season, which included a second-place finish in the Visit South Aegean Islands in Greece. Reflecting on his success, Negrente shared, “Today was a great day, a race with a particularly interesting route and short climbs in the repetitive laps that were good for me.” His strategic sprint towards the finish line led to his well-deserved victory in his debut season for the team.
