Remco Evenepoel Makes Strong Progress Towards Paris-Nice Podium

Remco Evenepoel showcased his capabilities during a challenging stage of Paris-Nice, navigating through the formidable climbs to position himself closer to a podium finish.
As the race intensified on the penultimate ascent, Evenepoel and teammate Ilan Van Wilder worked tirelessly, with strategic pacing and a well-timed attack on the Mont Brouilly propelling him ahead of his competitors. This effort culminated in a commendable fourth-place finish, coupled with vital bonus seconds captured during the intermediate sprint.
Reflecting on his performance, Evenepoel expressed satisfaction with his form and praised his team’s support, stating, “I felt good today, and I’m happy with this and with the solid job the squad did today.” He currently sits fourth overall, trailing the yellow jersey by 30 seconds, but remains optimistic about the challenges that lie ahead, remarking, “It won’t be easy in the weekend, but we’ll continue to try and see what we can do.”
