Team dsm-firmenich PostNL shines at Classic Brugge-De Panne as Charlotte Kool sprints to 2nd place

After an impressive performance at the Classic Brugge-De Panne, Charlotte Kool from Team dsm-firmenich PostNL reflected on the race by stating, “The race went exactly as we hoped, and the girls did a great job looking after me throughout the day. We rode the final exactly as we had discussed this morning, and the girls completely nailed the final. Unfortunately, someone else was just faster today, but if we continue riding like this, the results will follow very soon.”

Coach Kelvin Dekker also shared his thoughts, saying, “We came here to win with Charlotte. We made a clear and strong plan for the race and were well-prepared. We started strong and lost control a bit in the middle of the race. We were luckily strong enough to fix our things there. In the last 20 kilometers, we did everything as planned into detail, which was really impressive. We took control, and everyone could contribute as we discussed within our blue-sky scenario, and that makes me and the whole team really proud. We would have loved to win, but the team and Charlotte gave 100%, and second is something to be proud of in the way we did it.”
