Israel Cycling Academy Takes On the Challenge of Circuit Des Ardennes
Israel Cycling Academy is gearing up to tackle their toughest stage race to date – the 4-day Circuit Des Ardennes – starting today.
Aviad Izrael, the manager of ICA, spoke about their strategy for the race, saying, “We are coming to this with a strong squad and a clear goal to win a stage and even more but, of course, we will need to be at our highest level and make all the right decisions.”
ICA has been performing impressively throughout the season, and Izrael expects this trend to continue in the Ardennes. He added, “We’ve got Riley as our sprinter in the first stage with Yuval been Moshe as our second option. But in the following three days, every one of our riders will get the chance to shine if he proves capable. We do not have a clear GC leader so it’s all open.”
The team will include three Israelis in the lineup. Despite a rainy and windy forecast, Izrael believes his riders are prepared. He emphasized the importance of making the right decisions, stating, “The most critical thing is to make the right decisions. That will be the key.”
