Andreas Kron Prepares for Debut at Flèche Wallonne
Andreas Kron, who recently achieved a fourth place at the Amstel Gold Race, will be making his debut at the prestigious Flèche Wallonne. Kron, accompanied by his team members, is uncertain about what to expect at the race.
Kron did a recon of the Flèche Wallonne final course and noted the steepness of the iconic Mur de Huy. He admits that racing on this challenging terrain is new to him, but he remains optimistic about the experience.
Despite having only watched the race on television, Kron is aware of the race dynamics and the importance of timing in the final sprint. He acknowledges the past dominance of riders like Valverde and Alaphilippe, who have won the race multiple times.
When asked about his own chances, Kron remains humble and states that he is looking for a top ten finish, but believes teammate Maxim Van Gils has a better chance of success at Flèche Wallonne.
Overall, Kron is excited about the race and looks forward to testing his abilities in this challenging one-day event.
