Winning Youngsters Engelhardt and Peña Renew Contracts with Team Jayco AlUla

Team Jayco AlUla has announced that promising young talents Felix Engelhardt and Jesus David Peña have both signed new contracts for the 2024 season. Engelhardt, a German all-rounder, had an exceptional debut season, winning two professional races and completing his first Grand Tour. Peña, a Colombian climber, had a slow start due to injuries but impressed with a stage win at the Tour of Slovenia. Both riders have shown great potential and Team Jayco AlUla is excited to continue developing them.

Team Jayco AlUla General Manager, Brent Copeland, expressed his confidence in Engelhardt, stating, “This kid is talented, he’s got a huge future and a good career ahead of him.” Copeland also praised Engelhardt’s winning mentality, saying, “A rider that is able to win in his first year shows that he has the right mindset.”
