A new top 10 for Florian Dauphin

“It’s been a mixed day. Lucas Janssen went to the front today. He respected the instructions: we didn’t want to be trapped by a breakaway at the start of the race. The Lidl-Trek team defended the leader’s jersey very strongly right up to the start of the circuit. In the final, Florian Dauphin and Pierre Thierry had to play their cards. Unfortunately, the latter fell, but not seriously, in the middle of the stage. We may well have lacked this key card in the last few laps to give the race a boost. Despite this, he finished in the pack and Florian was once again in the top 10. What’s positive is that our riders are in good shape and listening to us. We need to recover well, because this Tour de Bretagne is far from over.
