# Lotto Dstny Secures Key Extensions and Welcomes Rising Star Tijl De Decker

Lotto Dstny has announced significant roster updates as Belgian cyclists Cedric Beullens and Brent Van Moer, along with Australian rider Jarrad Drizners, extend their contracts with the team. In exciting news, young talent Tijl De Decker will transition from the Development Team to the ProTeam next season.

“Together with them, we want to keep building the future of our team,” says CEO Stéphane Heulot, reflecting the team’s commitment to continuity and progress.

Brent Van Moer, 25, has been a valued member of Lotto Dstny since 2017, coming up through the ranks of the Development Team. The rouleur captured a notable 3rd place at the GP La Marseillaise this year and played a pivotal role as a domestique during the team’s Spring Classics campaign. Van Moer has signed an extension through the end of 2025.

Cedric Beullens, 26, joined the organization in 2022 and will also stay on for two additional seasons, with an option for a third. His contributions as a dedicated teammate during the Classics have been substantial, including a 7th place finish at Classic Brugge-De Panne and a 9th at the Brussels Cycling Classic.

“ We are delighted with these three extensions,” Heulot expresses. “For us, it is really important to keep the Classics team together. The past months, the team has shown its offensive spirit in the spring races, which happened partly due to these team players. They are a perfect fit within our team and for the plans we have for the future.”

Jarrad Drizners, 24, known for his role in the sprint train, has also committed to two more years with Lotto Dstny. Since joining in 2022, his effectiveness in both sprints and Classics has made him an essential team member.

The team is also thrilled to promote Tijl De Decker, 21, to the ProTeam. De Decker, who joined the Lotto Dstny Development Team this year, dazzled with a stage win in the Tour de Taiwan and top finishes, including a 2nd place at the Rutland-Melton Cicle Classic and a triumphant win at Paris-Roubaix espoirs.

“I am really happy that I can turn pro with Lotto Dstny next season,” remarks De Decker. “This year I already took some big steps forward within the Development Team. Last year, I was only able to go for victory in the national races; now I’m competitive on an international level. I don’t see a better environment than Lotto Dstny to further develop myself. I would describe myself as a Classics rider with a good sprint. I hope to show myself in some smaller races of 1.1 level next year, maybe not immediately to win myself but to get the victory as a team.”

Kurt Van de Wouwer, the sports manager, comments on Tijl’s promotion, stating, “Tijl turning pro is just a logical choice. He already made a big progression this year, and we believe he’s still got a big growth margin. Stepping up to the pro team perfectly fits our strategy to develop our youngsters and guide them to a higher level. We are convinced that he can show some nice things with the pros as well.”

As Lotto Dstny prepares for the upcoming season, these contract extensions and the promotion of Tijl De Decker signal a strong commitment to nurturing talent and continuity within the team.
