# Team Bahrain Victorious Forms Strategic Nutrition Alliance with Amacx Starting 2026
Team Bahrain Victorious has officially announced a multi-year partnership with Amacx, set to commence in the 2026 season. As the team’s Official Nutrition Partner, Amacx will provide a comprehensive array of performance nutrition, hydration, and recovery products tailored for the rigorous demands of the WorldTour calendar.
With over 200 race days each season, encompassing prestigious events such as Grand Tours, Monuments, and Classics, nutrition has emerged as a pivotal factor influencing performance in modern cycling. Proper fueling, swift recovery, and sustained energy levels are critical for success in lengthy stage races and high-intensity one-day events.
Amacx will collaborate closely with Bahrain Victorious’s performance staff to deliver a nutrition solution that aligns with each rider’s specific fueling needs. This includes advanced carbohydrate strategies designed for maximum absorption during races, where athletes are capable of utilizing up to 120 grams of carbohydrates per hour. Ensuring both quality and digestibility in their products will help minimize gastrointestinal stress—vital for performance.
Head Nutritionist Daan Boersma addressed the search for the right nutrition partner, stating, “When we were looking for our future nutrition partner, we really wanted to ensure we had a quality product that the riders were comfortable with. Amacx not only provides high-quality nutrition products but also offers a wide range of products that are integral to the demands of WorldTour cycling. Today, nutrition is one of the biggest game changers, and having Amacx onboard will definitely keep our riders on top during the race as well as pre- and post-race nutrition with a full supplement and recovery product line. The variety of products Amacx provides will also be welcomed, offering a range of flavors and on-bike fuel products, making it easy for our riders to consistently reach high carb intake without experiencing flavor fatigue.”
Nikias Arndt, a rider for Bahrain Victorious, is looking forward to the impact of this partnership, underlining the significance of tailored nutritional strategies in upcoming competitions.
In addition to product supply, Amacx will be fully integrated into the team’s performance program, offering educational sessions, race support, and continuous product testing. The ongoing feedback from riders and staff throughout the season will help refine current offerings and inspire future innovations, ensuring that all products are validated under real WorldTour racing conditions.
Gino Vierhouten, CEO of Amacx Sports Nutrition, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are proud to start the partnership with TBV and to work closely together in performance nutrition and recovery. With riders targeting General Classification results, especially in Grand Tours and major stage races, every detail counts. In these demanding competitions, nutrition plays a decisive role in optimising fuelling, enhancing recovery, and ultimately making the difference in overall performance.”
This partnership marks a significant step forward for Team Bahrain Victorious, as they work to enhance their competitive edge through cutting-edge nutrition solutions starting in 2026.
