ProTeam Ridley and Lotto Soudal extend to 2026

# Ridley and Lotto Soudal Extend Partnership to 2026: A Winning Collaboration Continues

Ridley and Lotto Soudal have officially extended their partnership through to 2026, marking an additional four years of collaboration and triumphs in the cycling world. This extension follows their previous contract, which was set to conclude in 2022, solidifying a relationship that dates back to 2005 when Lotto Soudal was known as Davitamon-Lotto.

Jochim Aerts, CEO of Belgian Cycling Factory (Ridley’s parent company), expressed pride in the extension by stating, *“We are very proud to announce this extension. In 2025, Ridley will have been racing for 20 years at the very highest level of cycling. That’s a very big deal for a Belgian bike company, competing against the giants in the cycling industry.”*

Aerts emphasized the importance of innovation, saying, *“Innovation is one of our cornerstones, and is mandatory if you want to work with a WorldTour team. We will also innovate in the coming seasons… These innovations are necessary to support talents such as Van Moer and Vermeersch.”*

John Lelangue, General Manager of Lotto Soudal, shared his enthusiasm for the continued partnership: *“I am extremely proud that we will continue to work with Ridley in the coming years. As a Belgian company that focuses on innovation, quality and performance, it is a perfect match with what Lotto Soudal stands for.”* He noted the significant contributions of Ridley’s R&D department to the needs of top athletes, highlighting past successes like the bike Victor Campenaerts used to break the hour record.

As they look ahead, Lotto Soudal is set to race with an array of advanced Ridley bikes, including the Noah Fast Disc and Helium SLX Disc, along with the new Dean Fast Disc time trial bike. Changes in equipment will see Ridleys assembled with DT Swiss wheels, KMC chains, and Shimano Dura-Ace groupsets among other top-notch components.

Lotto Soudal rider Caleb Ewan reflected on his experience, stating, *“For three seasons, my Ridley Noah Fast Disc and I took part in the most important competitions… I can safely say that it has been a winning combination. That’s why I’m very happy that we will continue to work with Ridley in the coming seasons.”* He noted that the collaboration and feedback from riders are key to ongoing success.

With both teams looking forward to a fruitful future, this partnership signifies not only a commitment to quality and performance but also a shared passion for elevating Belgian cycling on the global stage.
