# Team Visma | Lease a Bike Successfully Navigates Stage 3 of Tour de l’Ardèche

In a relatively straightforward Stage 3 of the Tour de l’Ardèche, Team Visma | Lease a Bike reported no issues after the previous day’s cancelled stage. The course featured three categorised climbs within the last fifty kilometres, but they were not challenging enough to significantly impact the race outcome. As a result, the squad chose to maintain a conservative approach during the final sprint.

“We knew in advance that this was a day where there would not be much for us to gain,” remarked sports director Jos van Emden. “The climbs were not hard and steep enough to make a difference, so we just had to get through this day. The most important thing was that we crossed the finish line safely, and we succeeded. The next three days will be more important.”

Looking ahead, the next stage includes a 20-kilometre individual time trial, presenting key opportunities for riders to gain an advantage in ranking. Current standings show notable performances from Team Visma’s Femke de Vries (third), Viktória Chladoňová (eighth), Rosita Reijnhout (ninth), and Marion Bunel (eleventh). Van Emden is optimistic about the upcoming trial: “We will do everything we can to finish as high as possible. There will certainly be time differences after tomorrow’s time trial.”

In the Stage 3 results, Mischa Bredewold from Team SD Worx – Protime secured the first position with a time of 3:01:57, followed by Amber Kraak from FDJ – SUEZ in second place.
