Großer Preis des Kantons Aargau: Roger Adria sprints to 3rd place

Before the start of the Tour de Suisse on Sunday, the traditional “GP des Kantons Aargau“ (UCI 1.1) in  northern Switzerland was on the race program of BORA – hansgrohe  today. 173km on a difficult circuit, starting and finishing in Leuggern. The pace during the 50km was extremely high and all breakaway attempts were neutralised by the peloton. In the finale, it was a significantly reduced peloton that tackled the uphill finishing straight. Roger Adría made full use of his qualities on this terrain and crossed the finish line in a strong third place.  From the Finish Line“It was a very tough race with a route that definitely suited me. The aim was to finish on the podium here – and we achieved that. The team did a really strong job on the penultimate lap, set a high pace and reduced the bunch significantly. I gave it my all in the sprint and am delighted with my podium finish.“ Roger Adría
