Liv AlUla Jayco Team Gears up for Strade Bianche 2024 with Trio of National Champions

The Liv AlUla Jayco team is set to showcase a formidable lineup at the 10th edition of the prestigious women’s Strade Bianche race, featuring a trio of national champions: Mavi Garcia, Ella Wyllie, and Ruby Roseman-Gannon. The team’s strength is sure to shine as they navigate the challenging 137km route on March 2nd, tackling 12 gravel sectors and elevating their way to the spectacular Piazza de Siena.

As one of the toughest one-day races on the UCI WorldTour calendar, Liv AlUla Jayco is bolstered by the addition of Spanish champion Mavi Garcia, who finished second in the event in 2020, giving the team a seasoned edge. Joining her are Australian duo Alex Manly and Amber Pate, as well as newcomer Caroline Andersson from Sweden, creating a well-rounded and dynamic squad.

Ella Wyllie, the newly crowned New Zealand champion, expressed her excitement saying, “I’m really looking forward to my first Strade Bianche, it’s such an iconic race and our team has a strong lineup. Mavi’s placed second before and with the experience of the other girls, I’m keen to learn lots. I also cannot wait to debut my new white New Zealand champions kit on the white roads of Italy… and maybe another surprise.”

Sport Director Megan Chard highlighted the team’s versatile strengths, stating, “We’re not going in with one pure leader, I think we have a team that can cover each other go for some big moves and some big opportunities and I think that’s going to be really exciting.” The challenging race route promises an intense battle, with potentially wet conditions adding another layer of complexity.

Liv AlUla Jayco roster for the 2024 Strade Bianche includes Caroline Andersson (SWE), Mavi Garcia (ESP), Amber Pate (AUS), Alex Manly (AUS), Ruby Roseman-Gannon (AUS), and Ella Wyllie (NZL). The team is ready to make their mark and aim for a spot in the top-10, showcasing their strength and determination on the iconic Italian roads.
