Team manager Maarten Wynants reflected on the team’s strategy, stating, “The aim was to get Bart and Attila both in the top ten of the general classification… At that point everything was actually going fine for us.” Despite initial setbacks, the team remained resilient, with Valter and Lemmen displaying commendable performance throughout the stage.

As the race culminated on the Jebel Hafeet climb, Valter and Lemmen found themselves amidst a select group of riders vying for victory. Valter expressed his satisfaction with the team’s overall performance, stating, “We won a stage with Olav and both me and Bart finished in the top 10 of the general classification… So we can go home satisfied and I look forward to racing here again next year.”

The stage victory ultimately went to Lennert Van Eetvelt, with Valter placing 5th and Lemmen finishing 10th in the general classification.
