Excitement Builds as New Riders Debut for the 2024 Season at Setmana Valenciana

CANYON//SRAM Racing is set to debut new riders for the upcoming stage races as they participate in the Setmana Ciclista Volta Feminina de la Comunitat Valenciana from 15 to 18 February. The team’s roster for the event will feature Elise Chabbey, Selam Amha Gerefiel, Nastiya Kolesava, Alex Morrice, Antonia Niedermaier, and Kasia Niewiadoma.

The race promises to create “exciting racing with a mix of terrain and a queen stage on the penultimate day,” with challenging climbs presenting an early-season test for the cyclists. Both Nastya Kolesava and Kasia Niewiadoma expressed their enthusiasm and readiness for the challenging race.

Nastya Kolesava shared her excitement, noting the toughness of the race and the team’s strong potential for the general classification. Likewise, Kasia Niewiadoma expressed her readiness and curiosity to see where she stands after her winter preparation.

Elise Chabbey, still recovering from a knee injury, aims to contribute to the team’s success while building up her form during the race. Meanwhile, Selam Amha Gerefiel expressed her eagerness to race with the World Tour riders and support her teammates.

The event will be broadcast on the SportPublicTV YouTube channel, allowing cycling enthusiasts to follow the action closely. The race consists of four stages, with each stage offering its own set of challenges for the participants.
