Mark Cavendish Triumphs in Tour Colombia with Stage 4 Win
Astana Qazaqstan’s Mark Cavendish secured a thrilling Stage Four victory at the Tour Colombia in Zipaquirá. His win came after an exceptional lead-out from his team, including Harold Tejada, Alexey Lutsenko, Michael Mørkøv, and Cees Bol. Alongside this, Harold Martín López’s significant effort throughout the day was highlighted.
Cavendish expressed his gratitude for his team’s support, stating, “I’m speechless. I was lined up behind my boys in the final kilometer and knew I couldn’t let them down. They were phenomenal…The belief and passion they showed for our team brings tears to my eyes.”

As the competition progresses and with the queen stage to Alto del Vino on the horizon, Harold Tejada of Astana Qazaqstan remains second in the General Classification, just 4 seconds behind the current race leader Rodrigo Contreras.
