Maëva Squiban: Excited for the Challenges and Potential of Future Races

French cyclist Maëva Squiban is looking forward to the upcoming races, expressing her optimism and determination. Discussing her participation in the Vuelta CV Feminas, she remarked, “I’ve already taken part in the Vuelta CV Feminas in 2022. The course was different from the 2024 edition. This year it’s more difficult, especially with a decisive second pass of 5km at an average of 9%.” The challenging nature of the race presents an opportunity for Squiban, who believes that “If I don’t, we’ll be in a sprint with Emilia and Marie-Morgane.”

Remaining positive about her prospects, Squiban added, “I’m feeling pretty good, training’s gone well over the last few weeks. We’ve got a good chance of doing well, just as we did in our first races, when we got on really well with each other.” Her clear enthusiasm reflects her dedication and ambition, setting the stage for an exciting and competitive racing season.
