23 National Champions Crowned at the 2024 Esports National Championships
The 2024 USA Cycling Esports National Championships presented by the Echelon Racing League (ERL) saw a display of outstanding performances as athletes from around the United States competed for the Stars and Stripes jersey from their homes.
The event featured age-group categories and an omnium-style competition for Elite Men and Women. In the Women’s 35-39, Stefanie Sydlik, Emily Nyquist, Jenn Real, Theia Friestedt, Andi Smith, Jennifer Slawta, Sherry Berde Townsend, Margaret Thompson, and Wendy Skean emerged as winners.
In the Men’s races, Scott Catanzaro, Jadon Jaeger, Mason Rocca, Scott Cunningham, David Henderson, Kevin Metcalfe, Jeffrey Moreton, Michael Kurtz, Scott Bulfinch, and Dominic Rossetto secured victories across various age categories. In the Collegiate division, Fred Meredith and Megan Lester became champions.
In the omnium-style event, Brian Duffy and Kristin Kulchinsky delivered exceptional performances. Duffy claimed victory in the Elite Men’s overall competition, while Kulchinsky secured the overall win and the national title in the Women’s event.
