INEOS Grenadiers Strengthens Team with Key Appointments for 2024 Season

INEOS Grenadiers has announced key appointments to reinforce its team ahead of the 2024 season. The team is currently in Mallorca, Spain, for its annual pre-season training camp, with all staff, riders, and partners in attendance.

John Allert has been appointed as the team’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect. Allert expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity, stating, “It is a privilege to lead this team going forward. I’m humbled by the talent of our rider group, my team-mates, the calibre of our partners, and the opportunity to work hard together and write a new chapter of success for the INEOS Grenadiers.”

The team will also see the arrival of Dr. Scott Drawer as Performance Director. Drawer brings a wealth of experience from elite sporting organizations, including England Rugby and UK Sport, as well as time with Team GB. He commented, “The INEOS Grenadiers are entering an exciting phase, they have some big goals for the future and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

Additional changes within the performance group include the appointment of Steve Cummings as the Director of Racing and the addition of Imanol Erviti as a Sport Director (DS). Cummings, commenting on his new role, expressed his pride in leading the team and its focus on achieving their goals, stating, “We’re absolutely focussed on getting back to the top step of the podium.”

These appointments signal a significant strengthening of the INEOS Grenadiers team as they gear up for the 2024 season, with a clear vision and a renewed focus on success for the future.
