Dylan Groenewegen Extends Contract with Team Jayco AlUla Until 2025
Sprint star Dylan Groenewegen has committed his future to Team Jayco AlUla by signing a new contract that will keep him with the Australian outfit until the end of 2025. The 30-year-old joined the team in 2022 and has been a consistent performer, earning multiple victories, including a Tour de France stage win.
Team Jayco AlUla’s General Manager, Brent Copeland, expressed his delight at Groenewegen’s decision to extend his contract, stating, “He is one of the leaders of this team and it is important to keep hold of leaders like himself as we continue to strengthen in every department. Everybody knows Dylan is one of the fastest riders in the world, and we are fully committed to giving him everything he needs to win at the highest level.”
Groenewegen himself expressed his happiness with the new contract, stating, “I believe this is the best place to be for my career and also to keep winning races.” He also highlighted the team’s goal of winning at the Tour de France, stating that they came close this year and he is motivated to achieve more in the next two years.
Since joining Team Jayco AlUla, Groenewegen has achieved several notable victories, including stage wins at the Tour de France, Saudi Tour, and other races. The team has also made efforts to strengthen their sprint group for the upcoming seasons to further support Groenewegen’s success.
