Aular Claims Victory on Stage Five of CRO Race

Venezuelan cyclist Orluis Alberto Aular emerged as the winner of the fifth stage of the CRO Race, securing the top spot in the general classification just one day before the race concludes. The 189-kilometre stage from Crikvenica to Ozalj featured a challenging climb and a breakaway group of five riders. Aular showcased an impressive sprint at the finish line to secure the win. Reflecting on his victory, Aular expressed his satisfaction and credited his team for their support. Aular’s triumph also placed him in first position in the points classification. The German rider Jonas Rapp claimed the lead in the mountains classification, while American cyclist Magnus Sheffield, who previously held the general classification lead, unfortunately crashed during the stage. The sixth and final stage of the race is set to take place on October 1, starting in Samobor and finishing in Zagreb.
