Tour de Vendée: Arnaud Démare and Arkéa-Samsic ready for an exhausting and tactical race
According to Donavan Grondin, the Tour de Vendée is a demanding and challenging race, but it has also seen sprinters take the victory in recent seasons. With Arnaud Démare leading their team, Arkéa-Samsic is confident in their chances for success. Grondin mentioned that the team has set up a strong support system, including Dan McLay, Anthony Delaplace, and Clément Russo, to aid Démare. However, they are not ruling out the possibility of a race on the move, considering their well-prepared riders in excellent form at the end of the season. The race also holds significance as it will be the last professional race for their road captain, Laurent Pichon, and the team hopes to honor him by securing a victory in Vendée.
