Warren Barguil Finishes 4th in Coppa Agostoni
French cyclist Warren Barguil achieved a fourth-place finish in the prestigious Coppa Agostoni race. Reflecting on his performance, Barguil expressed his fondness for the race and his satisfaction with the team’s tactics:
“The Coppa Agostoni is a race I enjoy. I’ve shone there in the past. Lukasz did a good job of setting up with Alessandro. Maxime was in front, which put us in a good dynamic right from the start of the race. I anticipated with a lap and a half to go. 6 of us went out and then 4. We took advantage of a moment’s hesitation in the pack to make up the gap. Hirschi then came back on us. I’m happy with the way the day went.”
Barguil also mentioned the unveiling of his new bike, the Bianchi Specialissima RC, in its new color. He expressed his eagerness to showcase the bike and reward the hard work of the team mechanics. Additionally, Barguil credited his training in Nice as beneficial preparation for the Italian races. Looking ahead, he expressed his motivation to achieve significant results in the remaining events wearing the Arkéa-Samsic jersey.
Barguil’s impressive performance in the Coppa Agostoni highlights his skill and determination as he continues to compete internationally.
