Kaden Groves and Sepp Kuss Secure Victories in Thrilling Finale of La Vuelta 23
Madrid, Spain – In a thrilling conclusion to La Vuelta 23, Kaden Groves of Alpecin-Deceuninck emerged as the winner of the final stage. Groves followed Remco Evenepoel and Filippo Ganna as they pushed the pace on the closing circuit, ultimately sprinting to victory. Groves also became the first Australian winner of the points standings in La Vuelta. Sepp Kuss of Jumbo-Visma celebrated his first Grand Tour victory after playing a vital role in his team’s previous successes.
The final stage of La Vuelta 23 took place in Madrid, with riders reflecting on their accomplishments over the last three weeks. Jumbo-Visma sported a special jersey to commemorate their triumphs in the Giro d’Italia, Tour de France, and La Vuelta.

In the closing meters of the race, the peloton caught up with the breakaway, but Groves managed to maintain his speed and claim victory ahead of Ganna.
Sepp Kuss, alongside his Jumbo-Visma teammates, crossed the finish line, celebrating his first Grand Tour victory. Kuss played a crucial role as a domestique in Jumbo-Visma’s previous successes.
