Pello Bilbao secures impressive 2nd place at San Sebastián

Pello Bilbao has continued his outstanding form with a second-place finish at the Klasikoa San Sebastian, where he narrowly missed out on victory to Remco Evenepoel. Bilbao’s strong performance comes on the heels of his sixth-place finish at the Tour de France and stage win. Despite his efforts to break away from Evenepoel on the final climb, the Belgian rider managed to edge past Bilbao in the sprint to the line. Bilbao expressed pride in his recent achievements and praised the collaborative effort of the small group he rode with. The race’s sports director, Neil Stephens, also commended Bilbao for his tactical prowess and securing an impressive second place finish.
