The Maryland Cycling Classic presented by UnitedHealthcare has released its full schedule of events for Labor Day weekend, taking place from Thursday, August 31 to Sunday, September 3, 2023, in Baltimore, Md. The weekend will feature a range of free family-friendly activities, including a community “Bike Jam,” street festivals, a stage presentation, and a Health & Wellness Expo on race day. The event aims to provide a weekend of fun and entertainment for all ages.

The second annual event will kick off with a community enrichment day on Thursday, August 31, where professional cyclists and community ambassadors will visit local elementary schools to educate children on bike and helmet safety. The weekend will also include the UHCCF Bridges of Hope Ride, a charity ride that allows participants to ride parts of the professional road course and benefits the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation.

Throughout the weekend, there will be various events and activities to engage the community, such as the Mayor’s Community “Bike Jam” on Friday, September 1, which will include a free community bike ride and bike safety clinics. On Saturday, September 2, there will be an official team introduction where fans can meet the cyclists from 16 teams and over 25 countries. The weekend will culminate with the Maryland Cycling Classic presented by UnitedHealthcare on Sunday, September 3, featuring top-ranked professional road cyclists from around the world.
