Andrea Vendrame Secures Podium Finish at Muscat Classic
Italian cyclist Andrea Vendrame expressed his satisfaction with his third-place finish at the Muscat Classic. Vendrame, who recently came fifth in his comeback race at the Classica Comunitat Valenciana, considered this result another positive outcome for both himself and his team.
Vendrame credited his team’s strong performance and acknowledged their hard work during the race. Reflecting on his own performance, he admitted to starting his sprint a bit early due to concerns about the headwind. However, he was pleased with the result and saw it as evidence of his good form early in the season.
The 25-year-old cyclist highlighted changes in his training regimen as a contributing factor to his positive results. Vendrame emphasized his determination to continue improving and set his sights on future races, particularly the upcoming Tour of Oman, where he hopes to secure stage wins.
Vendrame concluded, “The aim will be to get my arms up quickly, and why not as early as the Tour of Oman.”
