Israel – Premier Tech Announces Strong Lineup for Milano-Sanremo
Israel – Premier Tech is gearing up for Milano-Sanremo with a talented team of seven riders, ready to make their mark in the first Monument race of the season.
According to sports director Steve Bauer, this is a race that suits Corbin Strong, despite it being his first edition. Bauer expressed optimism about Strong’s chances, saying, “We did a good recon and I’m optimistic about his chances.”
Unfortunately, Giacomo Nizzolo, the designated leader, had to withdraw from the race due to illness. However, Sep Vanmarcke has stepped in to fill the role. Bauer believes Vanmarcke is in excellent form and expects him to be competitive on Saturday.
Joining Strong and Vanmarcke in the lineup are Hugo Houle, Daryl Impey, Derek Gee, Krists Neilands, and Mads Würtz Schmidt.
In light of Nizzolo’s absence, Bauer reassures that the team’s approach to the race remains unchanged, stating, “Everybody is ready to do a good race… We know what we have to do and I believe we can be competitive.”
The team is now focused on preparing for the prestigious race, hoping to make their presence felt and secure a strong result.
