Krists Neilands Extends Contract with Israel-Premier Tech for Three More Years

After an impressive performance at the Tour de France, Krists Neilands has signed a three-year contract extension with Israel – Premier Tech. The 28-year-old Latvian has been with the team since 2017 and this new contract will take him to ten years with the team, a milestone that team owner Sylvan Adams finds significant.

In light of Neilands’ recent ride at the Tour de France, Adams expresses his pride in Neilands’ effort. Adams states, “He’s got good form, and we’re hoping that Krists gets another crack at a win at this year’s Tour.”

During his time with Israel – Premier Tech, Neilands has achieved several victories, including stage wins at Tour de Hongrie and Grand Prix de Wallonie. Neilands also speaks highly of the team, explaining, “I feel really good in this team. I feel like it is one big family so there is no reason to change anything. I just want to continue this journey with the team, having been here since almost the beginning.”

IPT General Manager Kjell Carlström believes the best is yet to come for Neilands, stating, “Krists came to us as a young 22-year-old and now seven years later, he is entering the prime of his career so we can’t wait to see what he will do next.”

With this contract extension, Neilands looks forward to continuing his growth and achieving more with Israel – Premier Tech in the years to come.
