# Vingegaard Loses Red Jersey in Intense Stage 6 of La Vuelta
In a dramatic turn of events at Stage 6 of La Vuelta Ciclista a España, Team Visma | Lease a Bike seized control early on, setting the stage for a fierce competition in the ascent to Pal Andorra.
Jonas Vingegaard demonstrated his tactical prowess as he skillfully countered an attack from Italy’s Giulio Ciccone in the closing kilometers of the climb. Although he made an attempt to break away with an acceleration, rival riders quickly responded, thwarting his efforts.
