In his first race with the Israel – Premier Tech Academy, British rider Joe Blackmore won two stages and was crowned overall winner of Africa’s flagship race, the Tour du Rwanda. Blackmore and Sports Director Ruben Plaza talk us through IPT’s dominance of the eight-day event, which also included two memorable stage victories for Israeli road race champion Itamar Einhorn.
The British rider and Einhorn teamed up once again in style at last week’s Tour de Taiwan. A perfect final stage performance saw Blackmore move from fourth to first on GC, before the Israeli sprinted to claim the stage win.
