Vader claims mountain jersey in thrilling fourth stage of Tour of Slovakia

Dutch cyclist Milan Vader secured the mountain jersey in the fourth stage of the Tour of Slovakia. In addition to his strong performance on the climbs, Vader also picked up bonus seconds in two intermediate sprints, moving him up to third place in the general classification. His team’s sports director, Robert Wagner, expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance, stating, “We proved ourselves again today.” The stage was won by Tim Merlier, with American rider Colby Simmons finishing sixth in the closing stages. Simmons maintained his lead in the young riders’ classification. With one stage remaining, the team hopes to win the jerseys they currently hold and secure a place on the final podium with Vader.
