Unfortunate Crashes Plague Israeli Cyclist in Croatia
Yuval Ben Moshe, an Israeli cyclist, experienced a string of misfortune while competing in the Cro Race in Croatia. Despite being in a favorable position in the final stages of three different stages, Ben Moshe was hindered by crashes. Reflecting on the repeated incidents, he commented, “A crash. Again. In front of me.”
In the concluding stage of the race, which featured a challenging circuit, Ben Moshe showcased his skills by maneuvering through the peloton and positioning himself near stage winner Elia Viviani. However, disaster struck once again when the rider in front of him crashed, narrowly avoiding a collision himself. Following the race, Ben Moshe expressed his disappointment at the missed opportunity.
Another Israel – Premier Tech rider, Alexander Cataford, also had a notable performance during the race. He participated in an early breakaway but was eventually caught by the peloton on the final circuit.
As the Cro Race comes to an end, some riders will continue their racing season in Belgium, France, and Italy, while others will take a break and reflect on their accomplishments before deciding what lies ahead for them.
