Tour of Guangxi: Cristián Rodríguez Aims to Finish Season Strong
In his quest to end the season on a high note, Cristián Rodríguez, who secured a solid 13th place finish in the recent Vuelta Ciclista a España, will take on a leadership role for his team in the challenging stages of the Tour of Guangxi. The week-long UCI WorldTour race in China is a significant event as it returns to the cycling calendar after a long hiatus due to the impact of the Covid pandemic.
With the support of teammates Alessandro Verre and Louis Barré in the mountainous sections, Rodríguez aims to produce a strong performance in the overall classification of the race. However, the Tour of Guangxi also offers opportunities for sprinters on certain stages, leading the team to recruit David Dekker, Donavan Grondin, and Amaury Capiot.
