Despite the race coming back together on the Muur climb, Pidcock managed to position himself well in the peloton for the final sprint. Jan Tratnik and Nils Politt managed to break away in the closing stages, with Tratnik ultimately winning the prestigious race.

Throughout the race, Pidcock was supported by his team, Grenadiers, with riders like Luke Rowe, Connor Swift, and Ben Turner contributing to the early efforts of the group. The team’s hard work paid off as they stayed competitive in the front group.
