Team Visma | Lease a Bike Women animate the finale of Binche–Chimay–Binche

# Team Visma | Lease a Bike Women Show Strong Presence at Binche–Chimay–Binche Finale

In the heart of the Belgian autumn cycling classic, the riders of Team Visma | Lease a Bike Women showcased their endurance and strategic riding. Throughout the race, the distinctive yellow-and-black team maintained a consistent forefront presence within a significantly reduced peloton.

As the race neared its climax, several cyclists from the Dutch squad made attempts to break away from the pack. However, it was a select group of riders who raced toward the finish line together, leaving Team Visma | Lease a Bike Women unable to significantly influence the final outcome in Binche.

Reflecting on the day’s performance, sports director Jos van Emden remarked, “As a team, we rode a good race today. Perhaps we could have opened things up a bit earlier, but overall we can be satisfied with our performance. In the final lap we raced aggressively, but unfortunately, we couldn’t avoid a sprint finish.”

The event marked the conclusion of the road racing season for the Dutch team, and Van Emden looked back with pride. “It’s been a fantastic season. We won the Tour de France, which is the biggest victory possible. On top of that, our riders have continued to develop well, and as a result, the team as a whole has become even stronger.”

In terms of results, the race concluded with Lorena Wiebes of Team SD Worx – Protime taking the top spot, finishing in 3:03:00. Team Visma | Lease a Bike Women placed several riders within the top 21, with Margaux Vigié, Lieke Nooijen, and Nienke Veenhoven crossing the line in 14th, 15th, and 16th places respectively, all finishing just seconds off the podium.

Overall, the Binche–Chimay–Binche showcased not just the competition but also the growth and resilience of Team Visma | Lease a Bike Women as they prepare for future challenges.
