Team Jumbo-Visma Optimistic for Final Weekend of Vuelta

Team Jumbo-Visma is in good spirits as they approach the final weekend of the Vuelta a España. Sports director Marc Reef expressed the team’s priority of staying safe and out of trouble during the challenging stages. He emphasized the importance of staying alert and sharp, especially considering accidents that can occur in the peloton. Despite a crash in the final kilometers of the stage, the team managed to finish in one piece. General classification leader Sepp Kuss echoed Reef’s sentiments and emphasized the need to stay on guard for the upcoming stages.

The penultimate stage of the Vuelta promises a tough day of climbing, with numerous ups and downs throughout. Reef mentioned that this stage, with the most meters of climbing in the entire race, will be difficult to control. Other teams will be going for broke, making it essential for Team Jumbo-Visma to be prepared for the final battle.

In terms of the current standings, Sepp Kuss remains at the top of the general classification, with Jonas Vingegaard close behind in second place. Primož Roglič follows in third place. The team is healthy and ready to face the intensities of the final stages of the Vuelta.
