Team Jayco AlUla Celebrates Back-to-Back Wins with Michael Matthews’ Victory at Gran Premio Castellón

Following Dylan Groenewegen’s triumph at the Gran Premi València, Team Jayco AlUla achieved another victory in Spain with Michael Matthews’ impressive uphill sprint at the inaugural Gran Premio Castellón. The hilly terrain and attacking finale posed a challenge, but the team effectively controlled the race and supported Matthews to secure the win.

Matthews expressed his delight with the victory, remarking, “I’ve had a lot of my nice victories in Spain and to be the first winner here in this race is really special.” He also emphasized the team’s cohesive effort, stating, “Yesterday we worked amazing as a team and today we took it up from the start, we took the responsibility and we had confidence in ourselves to deliver the result.”
