Stevie Williams Extends Contract With Israel – Premier Tech
Following his recent victory at the Arctic Race of Norway, cyclist Stevie Williams has signed a contract extension with Israel – Premier Tech that will keep him with the team until 2025.
Williams joined Israel – Premier Tech late last year and has had a successful season, including a third-place finish at the British Road Race Championships and a stage win and General Classification victory in Norway.
“I’m excited to renew my contract for a few more years with the team,” said Williams. “Having raced well mainly through the summer and into autumn, I want to continue to improve by winning more consistently and having a real impact on the team moving forward for the coming years.”
The decision to extend Williams’ contract was an easy one for the team. IPT Sports Manager Rik Verbrugghe praised Williams’ talent and contribution to the team dynamic, stating, “We believe Stevie hasn’t yet reached his full potential and we look forward to working with him in the coming years to really see what he can do at the stage races and Grand Tours.”
Team owner Sylvan Adams also expressed his delight in Williams’ contract extension, saying, “I am so happy to be renewing Stevie’s contract. I’m proud to have Stevie signing for a long term. Your cycling family appreciates you and we have a lot more in our future.”
