Samuele Battistella Secures Third Place at the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana Final Stage
Italian cyclist Samuele Battistella of Astana Qazaqstan Team impressed with a third-place finish in the final stage of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana. Battistella showcased his talent by attacking early in the race and maintaining his position in the elite group until the very end. Despite a messy sprint, Battistella expressed satisfaction with his podium finish, bringing another achievement to his team.
Battistella commented on his performance, stating, “It was a short stage and the team’s plan was to go to the breakaway and try to survive at the hardest climb. I think I did a good job, I managed to stay in the first group until the finish. Unfortunately, the sprint was a bit messy, but I’m satisfied with my result, the third place is also a good result and glad to bring another podium for my team.”
