Primoz Roglic of Jumbo-Visma showcased his strong form by finishing in fourth place in the Tre Valli Varesine one-day race. The challenging course featured corners and hills, making it difficult to control. Despite this, Roglic and his team were well-represented throughout the race. Wilco Kelderman, Roglic’s teammate, expressed satisfaction with their performance, stating, “We can conclude that we had a good race. We look forward to Il Lombardia with confidence.”

Ilan Van Wilder of Soudal – Quick Step took the victory, crossing the line alone after attacking on the penultimate climb. Richard Carapaz of EF Education-EasyPost finished in second place, followed closely by Aleksandr Vlasov of BORA – hansgrohe. Roglic finished just behind them, with the same time gap of 18 seconds.

Roglic’s strong performance in Tre Valli Varesine bodes well for his upcoming race, Il Lombardia. The Slovenian rider will look to carry his good form into the final Monument race of the season.
