CANYON//SRAM Racing’s Neve Bradbury made an impressive mark on the UAE Tour Women by securing second place on the challenging summit finish of stage three. Neve’s determined climb catapulted her to second place in the general classification and also led in the youth classification. The team’s focus on positioning Neve and teammate Ricarda Bauernfeind at the foot of the final 10.8 km-long climb, Jabel Hafeet, proved successful. Neve’s powerful attack in the final moments of the race showcased her strength and determination, ultimately securing her a well-deserved second place.

Neve’s reaction to her performance was filled with confidence and determination, “To get second on the stage is a really nice confidence boost. I feel like I belong at the pointy end of the races now.” Her teammate Ricarda Bauernfeind also made an impactful finish by securing the tenth position overall. Additionally, Neve’s impressive performance carried the team to the top of the team classification.

As the race progresses to its final stage, Neve expresses hope for maintaining second place in the general classification and aims to end the race with a strong team performance, “We still have one more stage to go, but hopefully, we can take home second place in the general classification. I’m really happy with how today went, and we’re looking to finish off tomorrow with a good result for the team.”
