Cristián Rodriguez Holds Strong in Stage 14, Ranks 14th Overall in Vuelta Ciclista a España
The fourteenth stage of the Vuelta Ciclista a España proved to be another impressive race for Cristián Rodriguez. Although he lost contact with the leaders on the final climb, he managed to hold onto the red jersey pack for a significant amount of time. As a result, Rodriguez now sits in the top fifteen overall in the competition.
Team manager praised Rodriguez’s performance, stating, “Cristián had another outstanding race. He hung on to the red jersey pack for a long time, and lost contact with the leaders of the Vuelta Ciclsita a España on the last climb of the day.”
Despite his setback, Rodriguez’s overall ranking has improved, placing him just ahead of Remco Evenepoël, who also put in an impressive performance in the fourteenth stage. The team’s two riders, Kévin Vauquelin and Kévin Ledanois, were in the breakaway alongside the Belgian Champion. However, they were unable to keep up with the fast pace set by the climbers.
