“We’re really pleased with the time. Everyone did a great job, both the riders and the staff. We finished as the top continental team and not far behind the other World Tour teams, just one second behind Cofidis and one minute behind Soudal Quick-Step, which is not much over 28 km. The riders were clean, diligent and hard work paid off. This time-trial was also important for us in view of Sunday’s general classification. There are quite a few gaps between the teams, so this 6ᵉ place bodes well for the rest of the week”.
