Max Kanter is second in sprint on Stage 3 of the Deutschland Tour

Max Kanter once again finished on the podium at the Lidl-Deutschland Tour. This time, the Astana Qazaqstan Team rider came in second in a mass sprint on the third stage of the race.

“The stage was very tough and long, and the heat played a big role. It was difficult for everyone today. I want to thank the team for their support during the stage – the guys were always nearby, bringing water and ice. That allowed me to save energy for the finale. In the final kilometers, Gleb Syritsa and Rüdiger Selig were constantly by my side, and then Rüdiger brought me into a very good position. I did everything I could in the sprint and finished second”, – said Max Kanter.
