Maryland Cycling Classic Reveals Official Podium Awards Jerseys for Top Cycling Race
The Maryland Cycling Classic presented by UnitedHealthcare has unveiled the official podium awards jerseys for America’s top one-day international pro cycling race. The five race jerseys have been designed by Baltimore-based custom cycling apparel designer Athlos Sportswear.
According to Athlos Chief Sales and Marketing Officer David Manchester, “This year’s winner’s jerseys reflect the amazing companies supporting the Maryland Cycling Classic. Celebrating Maryland, its world-famous crab, and its iconic flag, this year’s jerseys come alive in a unified, exciting new look.”
As part of its partnership with the Maryland Cycling Classic, Athlos will also supply key staff clothing for the event.
The race, which features 16 teams of world-class athletes from over 20 countries, will take riders on a 120.4-mile journey through Baltimore County and a four-lap, 7.5-mile circuit in Central Baltimore before finishing in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor District.
The event is sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and USA Cycling, and is managed and marketed by Medalist Sports and KOM Sports Marketing, leaders in professional road cycling. Host partners of the Maryland Cycling Classic presented by UnitedHealthcare include the City of Baltimore, Visit Baltimore, Baltimore County, and the State of Maryland.
