Reflecting on her journey this season, Reusser shared, “I started the season super in Valencia,” and highlighted her comeback after recovering from COVID, stating, “To my positive surprise, I had good legs in Trofeo Alfredo Binda. I hope to get that confirmation also in Gent-Wevelgem. Because I love the classic spring.”
Reusser reminisced about her past victory at Gent-Wevelgem, expressing, “Gent-Wevelgem has a special place for me. It was my very first win in a big classic,” underlining the significance of the event for her. Boom emphasized the strategic challenges of the racecourse, especially mentioning the Kemmelberg and the unpredictability of weather conditions.
