Maeva Squiban 5th in the road race

“Today, in the road race of the French Elite Championships, it was the strongest riders who were in front. For my part, I gave it my all and finished 5th. The race scenario was bizarre. It took a while to settle down, even though I thought the start of the race would be more difficult. In the end, everyone was watching each other. At the end, some girls went off and it went to the end… At one point, I found myself in a group at the front. It wasn’t planned, but I felt there was an opportunity. But it was too messy to go far. I hoped a few girls would come back, but not as big a group as the one that did. It’s disappointing that it ended like that.
