Young Australian Cycling Talents to Join Team Jayco AlUla in 2025 and 2026
Team Jayco AlUla has announced the signing of promising Australian cyclists Hamish McKenzie and Wil Holmes, who are set to make their mark in the WorldTour peloton. McKenzie and Holmes will first race for the Hagens Berman Axeon-Jayco team before advancing to Team Jayco AlUla in 2025 and 2026, respectively.
McKenzie, known for his third-place finish in the U23 time trial at the world championships, expressed his excitement at joining Hagens Berman-Jayco and then Team Jayco AlUla, stating his ambitions for the upcoming season and his career goals. Likewise, Holmes, who boasts a victory in the junior time trial at the Australian national championships, shared his enthusiasm for the pathway with the U23 development team and his dream of racing the Tour de France.
